Flood Recovery Project
Moreton Bay Regional Council
2011 to 2012
Following the devastating Queensland floods in 2011, emergency disaster recovery measures initiated by the Federal Government resulted in unprecedented levels of funding being made available for controlled expenditure on recovery tasks.
Moreton Bay Regional Council sustained more than $70 Million in damage to assets across more than 600 sites, mostly road infrastructure. The 18 month project involved management of the recovery program, with projects ranging from minor repairs to significant reconstructions up to $12 Million in value.
